Human nature, blessing, love, and transformation
All blessings require acknowledgment to be complete and for the grace energy of blessing to be transferred and experienced.
Responding with “Bless you” when we hear someone sneezes is like this.
When we do not thank someone for their blessing when we’ve sneezed, presences an incomplete life-loop.
It’s almost as if there is no blessing unless we respond with “Thank you” and “You’re welcome.”
A missed opportunity for grace to feel love and connection.
From “Good morning, Good night. Have a nice day, Good luck, Good bye. Feel better. Have a nice trip. Have a good day. May there be wind beneath your wings…”
All these are blessings that invite response, an intentional acknowledgment in order to be complete and for the grace energy of blessing to transfer.
I invite us to be gracious and be “thanks-full.” By saying “You’re welcome” whenever someone blesses us.
PS: We do not have to believe in God to bless another person. The capacity to bless is part of being human, integral to our humanity.
Blessing belongs to us.
We get to do it.
Just because.
Thank you for reading this.
Blessings on your journey.
You’re welcome.
